Marketing Internship

About Caravann

Caravann helps organizations navigate change, growth, and transformation. We work with leaders to clarify strategy, strengthen leadership, align teams, and turn complex challenges into practical action.

Our marketing reflects the same approach: clear thinking, useful ideas, strong storytelling, and content that helps leaders move forward.

The Role

Caravann is seeking a remote Marketing Intern to support LinkedIn, Instagram, and email campaigns, content development, and marketing strategy.

You will work directly with Caravann’s founder and creative partners to turn consulting insights, services, and client challenges into compelling content for executives, public agencies, universities, healthcare institutions, and other mission-driven organizations.

This is not an internship focused on administrative support. You will contribute to real campaigns, develop portfolio-ready work, receive direct feedback, and learn how a growing consulting firm builds its brand and reaches prospective clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and email

  • Write social posts, newsletters, campaign emails, and website copy

  • Create campaigns for Caravann’s workshops, Clarity Sprints, leadership alignment work, and transformation partnerships

  • Turn presentations, frameworks, case studies, and consulting insights into engaging content

  • Repurpose one strong idea into posts, emails, carousels, articles, and visual concepts

  • Research the priorities of public agencies, universities, healthcare institutions, and organizational leaders

  • Support targeted outreach to prospective clients, partners, and procurement contacts

  • Coordinate with designers and develop clear creative briefs

  • Schedule approved content and monitor campaign performance

  • Recommend what Caravann should continue, improve, or test

  • Use AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, repurposing, and analysis

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong writing, editing, research, and communication skills

  • Ability to make complex ideas clear, concise, and engaging

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, email marketing, or digital campaigns

  • Interest in consulting, business strategy, leadership, communications, or organizational change

  • Strong judgment about tone, audience, and platform

  • Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized

  • Openness to direct feedback and multiple rounds of revision

  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly

  • Familiarity with Canva, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Google Workspace, analytics, SEO, CRM systems, or AI tools is helpful but not required

Current undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and early-career applicants are encouraged to apply. Relevant coursework, student leadership, freelance projects, campus organizations, or personal content projects may substitute for formal work experience.

What Success Looks Like

  • You turn rough ideas into polished content with a clear purpose

  • You understand who each campaign is for and what it should accomplish

  • You write for professional audiences without sounding generic or overly corporate

  • You adapt content for each channel rather than posting the same copy everywhere

  • You connect Caravann’s work to real challenges involving strategy, leadership, culture, alignment, and execution

  • You use performance data and feedback to improve future work

  • You bring initiative, consistency, judgment, and follow-through

What You’ll Gain

  • Direct experience developing business-to-business marketing campaigns

  • Portfolio-ready writing, campaign, and content strategy work

  • Exposure to consulting, professional services marketing, and business development

  • Experience working directly with senior leaders and creative partners

  • Regular feedback on writing, strategy, audience targeting, and execution

  • Greater familiarity with AI-supported marketing workflows and performance analysis

Sample Application Exercise

Final candidates may be asked to complete a short exercise, such as:

  • Developing a three-post LinkedIn campaign

  • Repurposing one consulting insight into social, email, and visual content

  • Creating a two-week content calendar

  • Drafting an email for a public agency, university, or healthcare audience

  • Reviewing sample campaign results and recommending next steps

We are looking for clear thinking, strong writing, curiosity, audience awareness, and the ability to turn ideas into effective campaigns.
